Why the name jüs (pronounced joos)?
That’s usually the first question asked. Most think it’s an acronym but Chef Alexcia came up with the name jüs from the culinary term au jus, which translates to “natural pan juices” that drip from meats when they are roasted. She wanted to find a name that expressed her passion for cooking as well as beverage creation and thus jüs was born.
Chef Alexcia currently works as a private chef in NYC and also sells a variety of delicious, all natural, home-made lemonades, iced teas and fresh squeezed juices. She is currently working to bottle her beverages so they can be readily available to her clients and the rest of the world.
